Fun Filled BOTW Cooking Recipes That Can Be Replicated In Real

A close up of food

Legends of Zelda: Breath of the Wild has had its own fair share of fans. The action-adventure game is arguably among the most immersive in terms of gameplay and storyline. However, that’s not all. The BOTW cooking recipes are equally interesting and at times we do feel like being able to have them in real life too. What if I tell you that just might be possible? Of course we will not be having monster extracts or something equally fantasy-fueled item, but we can replicate the recipes and make them look like that we witness in the game with some imagination! Let’s find out how.

Replicating BOTW Cooking Recipes Is Fun

A sign on a pole

Let’s take few well known recipes from the world of BOTW and try to find out ways to replicate them. We will need to get quite creative in few cases, but that’s the interesting part of it all!

Now, making a pumpkin stew is no major deal of course. So, we start with the easiest one in the lot. We will need a pumpkin, of course. And, then we will need butter, wheat flour, and fresh milk. The process is exactly like we will make any other stew, but we can also add some mushroom to improve the look and taste. Start by taking the pumpkin and cutting it into medium pieces, and then lightly fry it in butter. That will let the taste of the butter get inside the pumpkin as well. You will have to simmer the milk and add butter and wheat flour to it before adding the pumpkin. Remember, the flour is simply to thicken the consistency and thus should not be used too much. The stew is best served hot with some bread.

This is one of the best ones and easiest ones to replicate. You will need meat, which you can choose as per your preference. I find chicken to go best with this. Even though it isn’t said so in the BOTW cooking recipes, you will find the stew to taste much better if you sprinkle black pepper, garlic, and mixed herbs over the chicken pieces and coat it well with olive oil using your hand. Leave the chicken for 30 minutes to season. Then put butter in a fly pan and fry the chicken pieces until slightly golden. Don’t fry too much. Now it’s time for the stew. You will need milk, wheat flour, and butter to start making the stew. Once it starts simmering, add the chicken to it and keep boiling it till the chicken is cooked enough. Do remember to add garlic to the stew mix as well.

Of course we can keep innovating and prepare almost all the dishes you will find in the BOTW cooking recipes list. But, I leave it on you to figure out ways to replicate things. Remember, there are always natural ingredients to achieve the desired color and taste, even if there are items like monster extract in the list of ingredients.
