For Marinating the Paneer
1 tsp ginger garlic paste
250 gm paneer (cut into cubes)
One spring onion
Two green chilies chopped
1 tsp cumin powder
½ tsp red chili powder
¼ tsp turmeric powder
Salt according to preference
3 tsp curd
1 tsp lemon juice
1 tbsp Olive oil
The Salsa: Paneer And Salsa Tortilla Recipe
One medium-sized tomato (chopped)
One medium-size cucumber chopped
One onion chopped
1-2 spring onions chopped
½ capsicum chopped
One carrot chopped
½ tsp black pepper
½ tsp mixed herbs
chili flakes 1/2 tsp.
1 tbsp tomato ketchup
For The Wrap
4-6 readymade tortillas
4 tbsp mayonnaise
Any Cheese according to taste
Method For Marinating Cottage Cheese
In a bowl add curd, green chilies, ginger-garlic paste, lime juice, chopped spring onions and salt to taste, turmeric powder, red chili powder and mix everything.
Now add cottage cheese and mix it with the above mixture. Finally, add some olive oil over the marinated paneer.
Allow it to rest for an hour in the fridge.
Method For Making Salsa
Take a bowl to add chopped onion, carrot, tomato, cucumber, spring onion, capsicum, mixed herbs, chili flakes, black pepper powder, salt, and tomato ketchup. Mix everything. Shallow fry the marinated cottage cheese and keep it aside. Heat a non-stick pan and roast the tortilla. Note the tortilla must not turn brown.
Assembling Everything Together
Finally, take the tortilla spread mayonnaise on top.
Now add the chunks of shallow fry paneer or cottage cheese and also top it up with salsa sauce or dip prepared.
If one wants to add grated cheese on top of the salsa sauce, one can. It depends on one`s preference.
